BALKAN WALKS     GETTING THERE AND TRAVEL DETAILS Veliko Turnovo is easy to get to from most major places in Bulgaria.  The city is on a main rail link and buses and coaches travel to the city from all over Bulgaria. If you need travel advice, help or tips, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us on our contact page.  Additionally, if you need advice finding budget accommodation in Veliko Turnovo, the city boasts some excellent backpacker hostels and cheaper hotels and we would be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Our groups meet in the centre of Veliko Turnovo and transport is provided to the beginning of the walk via minibus or coach depending on the size of the group.  On completion of the trek, walkers are returned back to the city in the same way.  Transport is included in the price.
